Deaths of more children disclosed in Afghan attacks

The graves of 9 children found dead after a U.S. airstrike on Saturday.

Eight Afghans, including six children, were found dead after a U.S. attack on a compound in Afghanistan on Friday, the U.S. military said today. Lt. Col. Bryan Hilferty said it was not clear whether the children died as a direct result of the raid in the city of Gardez. On Saturday, nine children were found dead after a U.S. airstrike in the central Afghan village of Petaw.
