This astonished me. I could never understand why Gore's campaign seemed willing to fall on its sword, other than to suspect that there had been a back room deal made to give Bush the election. Nothing else makes sense. Notice how the media is playing Dean completely differently today than it did Gore in 2000. It sure seems that the fix is in.
