The rhetoric since then has been routine political posturing, akin to the bombast against Clinton. These attempts of yours to re-ignite the Boxer Rebellion are silly. The U.S. and China each have many other challenges to deal with, so the obvious and inevitable policy is to cooperate with each other. Taiwan will end up like the Isle of Man, of interest mainly to tourists and stamp collectors. Maybe they'll even develop a unique breed of cat.
