Economic progress is good for all Americans. No democrat wants the economy to plummet. We've had it bad enough for three years. The real problem remains. No good jobs. Chipmakers manufacture mostly in Asia.

Mortgage refis are now at 18 month low. That means the "sugar high" of tax cuts and refi cash flooding the economy is waning and fading out fast. That stimulus should have been enough to create millions of jobs, but it hasn't. Will it? We all hope so. We are all trying to make a better living, not just Republicans. Bush has failed for three straight years and given us the biggest deficit spending in history. I should hope we get a few milion jobs, at least. So far trickle-down has not worked at all. The rich are not hiring more butlers yet.
