Thanks Bruce. I plan to start checking other brokers after the EOY. Ameritrade will be one I check. You example of buy a 100k shares for a sub penny would cost $29.95 with Schwab. That is there minimum for sub dollar stocks. Stocks costing a buck or more cost active traders $14.99 for up to 5000 shares. I feel the $14.99 is reasonable for the service they offer. But sub dollar stock trades get poor service and cost a lot more. I must go someplace else for those trades. Jim
