When I broke my back I ended up having one. It took an hour and I slept through most of it, that is once I got the nurse to stop asking me if I was alright every couple of minutes. As an ex submariner being claustrophobic isn't an issue obviously:) They had to actually put my grandmother under. Even on valium she screamed endlessly.
