There is ZERO problem with 3 month Tbills or even 2 year TBills if you fully intend to leave the money there until expiry.

a cash account in 3mo TBills is fine if needed eventually
but storing it there for several months is crazy
sitting in gold bullion is wiser
you do suffer the spread though
