In Israel, this is true. In the U.S. this is false. Saddam was no threat to the United States, and actually, even Israel wasn't worried about him.

Bush squinted to Iraq instead of focussing on Afghanistan and OBL goons. What part do you not get? It was OBL who attacked and it was Taliban who gave sanctuary to OBL/goons.

Saddam was not a terrorist leader. True, he funded a few operations and gave money to Palestnians, but he did far less than any of the major terrorism sponsors like Iran, Syria, Libya, Saudi Arabia. Saddam is a secular leader. He was also a big friend of the Reagan administration. The only reason things went bad between us was that he invaded Kuwait. Otherwise Bushies would have no problem with Saddam.
The whole effort to link him to Al Qaida is so much BS propaganda damage control. I hate it when our government lies to us. Don't you?
