if they are eligible I believe the non eligibility of the over 50's is based not on any adverse events, but simply that that population was not evaluated. Hope I can get an off-label dispensation.......

Interesting, Peter. I inquired earlier about the possibility of self-administering a nasal spray type vaccination. I know this goes up against the extremely paternalistic white-coat image of medicine as it tends to be practiced in America, but seriously, don't health care workers have better things to do than help me inhale a nasal spray? Maybe I'm being a bit naive here, but it seems to me that once we get beyond the needle, we can pretty much just do it ourselves. Do I really need to make an appointment for that? I don't think so. Am I missing some potential opportunity for self-abuse that someone wants to spare me from? Can we ever get the medical establishment off our backs?
