Right you are Raymond. A bit of "Wealth and Democracy", a bit of "The Creature from Jekyll Island", and a lot of right wing-owned mass media spin, and you begin to understand the recipe for trouble being stirred up around these parts.

I want all workers to get a fair return for their efforts in life. I want all families to enjoy a basic dignity. I want a safety net under those who, through no fault of their own, may fall on hard times. I want the rich to pay their fair share for the services that are rendered them. Today, we have a grossly unfair system in the U.S. that has skewed the government toward giving outrageous welfare to corporations, who return the favor by moving their operations and accumulated capital outside the U.S. America should be for Americans. Today, it is certainly appearing ever more that corporations have stolen the Federal Government and are using it to destroy the middle class in our nation.

What I do not have is envy. What I have is anger that our way of life is being stolen from us in a most underhanded and egregiously unfair manner.

bravo raymond ... i applaud you.

If it isn't envy and is about making things "fair" and more like a "meritocracy" why limit the redistribution of wealth to just the US?

Hi Ray,
I want a safety net under those who, through no fault of their own,

Proble is these programs often seem to be usurped by many who shouldn't qualify ...

Mind you I'm no raving right winger myself. Note in my post to Grace I stated my preference for public health care over private. Just too bad it gets sorely abused from within...

Kastel
