Gus, if you are saying that it is dangerous for contract company personnel to build in Iraq, then I agree that it is an exercise in futility on the Bush Administration's part.

I am not even sure if even people from US companies would volunteer to go to Iraq. So I ask are Iraqi contracts something that the EU govts. would be eager to go after? I don't think.

On the contrary, Russia who owes Iraq money now would have stronger reason not to repay their debt, something thatthe US is trying the countries to do.
