I don't worry about labels- moderate, left whatever- is it logical? That's what matters. If it is logical, and makes utilitarian sense, it is the right path for me. In some cases smart lies might make sense, but you have to be very very careful with them. I'm reading a biography of Nixon- very nice one- and one comes away with the impression that the man just couldn't stop lying about ANYTHING- even the small stuff, and that just isn't logical.

With all the other obscenities in modern life that really hurt people, this is trivial to the extreme. JMHO as always.
