VOIP IS A FAILURE ON PRICE ALONE - FACTS

1. VOIP has been around for several years, it's not caught on because of inferior service quality and lack of "ease of use"...

2. Telephone calls are cheap. Most carriers now offer one rate plans that essentially kill prospects of providers like EGHT. Why? You can call your provider and get a "one rate" service plan that's as cheap as EGHT's service, or you can get a VOIP service that requires technical gymnastics. The winner between the two is obvious...

Bottom line: VOIP is price driven, and currently available "ONE RATE" service products are so low it makes no sense to switch. This economic fact is proven by the failure of VOIP providers thusfar.
