I merely thought your emotional addition of "normalcy" to the topic unwarranted, and strange.

I only meant that there are always nuts out there who will rail about something or other. Rather than "not nuts" I said "normal" because the sentence structure was simpler that way. I don't think that anyone who is not nuts has any problem with people wandering around the neighborhood on Christmas Eve singing carols. I stand by that. At worst it's annoying. Like people lighting fire crackers on the Fourth or New Year's Eve after you've gone to sleep. It's once a year and no big deal. Now if Charley's town put a creche in city hall, that would be another matter.
