And I suspect that Dr. Dean will be a more nurturing image than a scowling and stern Fuhrer Bush, ready to tell nighttime horror stories

Certainly to those of us who believe Dean and thing the gov't is lying. It will be fascinating to see what the primaries do in the next couple months, while the GOP does all the dirty deeds they can do, esp down South where they've become experts at tar-and-feathering Dems in a dozen different ways. They've turned Zell Miller into an attack-dog, and we'll see what the real folk believe.

Hopefully as Dean says the people may be tired of loud-mouth politicians pretending to represent their private beliefs in "God, guns and gays", and rather talk about destroyed jobs and the Terrors of Bush.

I hope Luntz is wrong. Otherwise we have a sick populace who probably deserve to get another four years of Bush.... good and hard

Luntz is a linguist-propagandist who knows what side his bread is buttered on (the side marked "Goebbles"), and its interesting to watch his manipulation of the focus groups on Hardball, giving them leading questions to belittle Dean a month ago, but now taking Dean more seriously. Now he's fishing for the most effective terms for character assassination... it's not working very well.
