Milton Hershey also started a school that to this day educates underprivileged children. He also made certain his workers had fair wages, medical coverage, etc. During the depression rather than callously lay them off, he used his intelligence to keep them employed until difficult economic challenges had passed. Is there another American CEO in history of this country who became extremely wealthy while at same time allowed his workforce a portion of the profit their hard work had produced? I can't think of another one--can you?
