M3 continues to dwindle: federalreserve.gov That tells me that diversified short positions are once again a reasonable approach. Could be a while on the credit card lenders; they seem to be able to ignore everything until they absolutely can't ignore it any more. Look at the homies. However, the data continue to indicate deterioration in the economy from the bottom up. The wealthy don't see or choose not to see what's going on, but even mighty WMT tells us that their customers are hurting. Please, please, please let this thing unwind before the election. I don't know how much more conservative rule in the US this planet can stand. BC
