CIEN guidance for next Q. Revenue flat to up 10 percent. Gross Margin similar to Q3. Q4 just reported. Which means GM will be down 7 point q-q.

Still seening weakness in metro business.

Added 18 next customers in the Q. 16 due to most recent acquisition.

Long haul market still has too many players, so pricing is weak.

Increase in finished good due to increase shipments. Shipments still not installed, tested and accepted yet, so was not book in the Q.

[Harry: Not uptick in business, but at least it looks stable. Flat guidance for next Q would be in line with typical seasonality. Noticed management thought carriers were back to more traditional spending patterns in Cap Ex. This would mean cap ex will remain depressed from peak levels going forward. It will probably just shift back and forth between the last mile and core going forward for the next few years.]
