Ron, thanks for the reco - it has also been suggested to me that Graham's 'Security Analysis' may still be used in many MBA programs, so I will be picking up both books for my friend.

Harry, I will definitely be listening in on a few conference calls soon - I assume that I'll have to wait until the new year, also that the 1-800 numbers are available to the public at large by contacting the company.
