I just read that again in Mark 13. Do you mean because Jesus used the same language as in Matthew? Two different authors in two books and we read the very same language. I'm pretty tired right now and am not to with it. Work has been wearing me down.

Did you know that Hal Lindsey for years taught that a "fig tree" was the National symbol for Israel and that Christ was actually referring to the Nation of Israel by using the "fig tree analogy" People have such itchy ears they never even realized that the symbol is an olive branch not a fig branch. Feeding itchy ears is a profitable business. Hal Lindsey also wrote a book called "Christ returns by 1988" I am old enough to remember that false prophecy.. but it did not hurt his career at all. People blind themselves to obvious error when they like what they hear more than God's truth. Hal Lindsey - the best of the worst. Brian
