We were all gullible prior to the war because we wanted to trust our president. After 9-11 we needed to trust him. But he completely abused that trust. That is the main reason (among many) he does not deserve any consideration in 2004 to be re-elected. Hs lies make clinton's sex lie look like a jaywalking ticket.

Before the war, I was for a smart realistic strategy to depose Saddam. I was not for leaving Saddam alone. I was for invasion with a broad coalition and a smart post-war plan. I was very sceptical when Bushies started comparing Saddam to Adolf Hitler. Why the need for sheer exaggeration I wondered? That's when I first smelled a rat. Sure enough, they were BS'ing us and just wanted to steal the mid-terms and the Iraqi oil.
