President Bush's daily intelligence briefings in the weeks
leading up to the September 11 terror attacks included a
warning of the possibility that Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda
network would attempt to hijack a U.S.-based airliner,
senior administration officials said Wednesday......

....White House officials, however, said vague talk of the
threat of potential hijackings was a recurring issue in
U.S. intelligence data, and cautioned against considering
this new information with "post 9/11 thinking."

"A general warning of the prospect of a hijacking would be
looked at much more differently today than it was pre-9/11,"
one senior official said......

WOW! I can't believe how damning this clear, specific
evidence really is! They should have grounded every flight
over US soil indefinitely based on this specific, detailed
information!

What a crock of BS if you think this proves anything
nefarious about the Bush Administration!

AS said....
"* And yet the Republicans condemn Clinton for being soft on Al Qaida. LOL Bush was warned and did nothing."

More proof that you can't even draw rational conclusions.

That's different from what you described.

..no speculation about the use of an airplane itself as a bomb or a weapon, and no specific, credible information
about the possibility of a hijacking of any sort

Hey, did Bush turn down a Sudanese offer to turn over bin ladin?

I know your not smart enough to deal with this but I will try anyhow. You can't ground the entire airline system in the US because of a possibility. We live under a possibility daily. There were probably 50+ other warnings in this intelligence briefing but after assessing the info and risk we decided not to stop all air travel in the US. It's called risk assessment and it happens daily. If every warning were acted on the entire country would be in total lockdown 24/7. Every analyst that has looked at this info in hind site agrees, while we may have had warning of something happening we did not have any specific information that could have prevented 9/11.

Talk to your secret agent friends and they will explain this to you. In fact I have a question for you. Since I now see you have Saudi secret agent friends who were warning of an attack why did you do nothing about preventing 9/11? I mean your friends had prior knowledge so you must have also. Did you allow 3000 to die so you could bitch about the President?

For you to continue to say that the President allowed 3000 people to die shows what a contemptible asshole you truly are.
