Well, the article ran in the New York Post, not the New York Times, and when I just checked, the weblog only had 187 comments. I'd like to hope that our influence is disproportionate to our numbers, but the truth is that there really are not very many of us actually willing to make the effort to learn things that aren't in the daily print newspapers and mainstream news. A few hundred, maybe a few thousand, out of seven billion.
