Yes Yes Yes

Prosperity is possible

The end of the world is not nigh

I remember the post war (WW II) decisions of Sears versus Mongomery Ward.

Sears planned for a boom and prospered.

Montgomery Ward planned for a depression and died.

Why is gold going up?

Because it has been in an extremely oversold state for a very long time and its day is come. NOT because the world is going into another stone age.

The major think I personally worry about is the possibility of some sort of rogue nuclear weapon out there. Hopefully they can ferret them out if they exist.

India won't be as simple due to its rigid class system that frustrates upwardly mobile behavior. China is the perfect test tube for the poverty to wealth process without any move to what we think is democratic or capitalistic. The academics are already without words for this, I think.

India is a capitalist democracy and that may inhibit the process.
