The erroneous conclusion that the Left took away from Vietnam was that if you cannot win the war in purely military terms, then military action is all useless and you should just admit defeat. The stench from the "cut and run" crowd is really getting bad on both fronts. Where Israel is going to end up is getting more obvious. I don't understand Bush's change in attitude. He had an Envoy criticizing Israel yesterday. Something must have happened that we are not aware of.
