>>red dress or no, do you or have you EVER had an association or interest (watch out!) in MPM Capital?<<

I've lost the pictures, but Kurt von Emster, James Gower, and I all wore red dresses at Chez Panisse this spring. We got drunk and made jokes at the expense of Lombard's Odious, See. I was buying, of course. So what?

>>Are you or are you NOT the individual who bad-mouthed Maxygen after the AMEV munch (again, answering that question does not limit your liability or my capacity to make future wild and embarrassing accusations red dress or no). Well, dude?? One might presume that it was ongoing, and only surfaced AFTER the munch.<<

Yes, though for different reasons than given by rkrw. I shorted MAXY because their CEO's hemline is way too high. Talk about molecular breeding, sheesh.

I did not lose the pictures of you and Dolly the sheep. I'd say she's been stuffed in more than one way.

I'll be happy to send you all the prints and negatives for a nominal six figure fee.

Cheers, Tuck

Rich,
With all this funny and gaiety going on over here today, I had to stop in and let you know that I have successfully undergone the operation of "burr" removal from under my saddle...and all is forgiven!

Happy Holiday Days to you and your kid! With mine coming home from NYC next week after her first semester of law school and the resignation to the fact that it appears she will make it through the three years of me paying tuition and NYC apartment rent, I'm happy!!!!!

As for this year, kuddos have to be given to those with 200% gains. What a year for biotechs!

As for my meager original SI portfolio, I am up over 120%. My good fortune was that I had FLML in my real portfolio and the SI contest, and sold 90% of it for a 700% profit. Can't say that I've ever had that many 700%'s in my holdings..make believe or real!

As for my SI portfolio, I had six that were up over 150%, so for those to have total gains of 200%, that is fantastic.

And let it be known, since I dropped out of the contest, I still made my annual contribution to Habitant for the Humanities, and I would suggest that anyone with any extra money in this holiday season, send them a check so that homes can be built for those less-fortunate than we that have money to invest in stocks.

Happy Holidays to all!!!!!
