there won't be a lot of significant changes... that's closer to the truth than others will admit.
Was going to comment but you said it pretty well

although:
1)the leader dictator thing is up in the air still
2) he may be too accommodating to our southern neighbours
3) he may eschew better ties with China out of Chrétien spite..

Long live the king .... or meet the new boss same as the old boss ?
