I seem to remember it was us that rebuilt the world after WWII. We managed to pay for that endeavor, ...we'll get by.

BTW, ...I saw your post on improving relations with the US and Iran, ...hmm, ...now might be a bad time to relieve our forces with Peacekeepers. That is, ...if they want to promote Iranian cooperation. Let alone the fact that this rebuilding needs to progress and can't wait for political considerations of self-imposed, non-participating countries.

The document, printed before Mr. Powell was back in Foggy Bottom, said America's "essential security interests" required the move

This clause was only cynically introduced into the dictat so that the victims of this high-handed policy could not avail themselves of the intervention of the WTO which stymied Bush's steel tariffs.

Bush and his henchmen are still writing law as if they were the reincarnation of Hitler, Goebbels and Himmler.

Special delivery from Mr. Bush pre Christmas- Kuwait awash with news at highest levels,, 'Bush got his man.. Saddam’;; yet no confirmations but lot of talks. Bush sceptics may now have to eat a small crow and cry their hearts if the ace of spade is in behind the bars, the enemy of Iraqis caught by US in Tikrit, jubilations on streets of Baghdad, next target the cave man Osama and one eyed monster Mullah Omar.. Does it get better than this, if it is correct..
