>>"I take it lightly as we engineers aren't typically the people in the know about foreign government policies. <<

I bet the poster is a typical American born in the US<g> who has little interest on anything beyond the US border. And I am wondering whether he realized even if now the loyalty from China counts a big part of Q's revenue?

>>Although it is likely TDSCDMA may have a part in China's 3G selection in my opinion, there have been nothing assured by the government publicly. <<

Apparently, he is NOT from China originally. Otherwise, he should understand a bit better than this from a Chinese point of view, and a little better of the Chinese gov.<g>

>>As for my thoughts: My bias is heavily in my employer :)."<<

It is so obvious, maybe he is so insecure about his job that dare not even to post his own true thought on the Internet?<g>

Condor, I guess the reason you asked him is that you want to know what is his OWN thought? Instead, what he said is sort of like what a PR person from Q said in the public<g>
And why is that?
