Greed..... Well, it got me again.

I didn't have a lot of time this week to watch the screen for some swing trades. Still high cash in the trading pot after taking profits the other day, as I posted.

I did have one day that I had some time and picked a couple of positions from my limited few and placed orders for day trades. Just a little swing play. But, I placed the bids just pennies below where I should have except the greed bug got me and I thought that I could squeeze "just a few more pennies" out of it. My broker has said that I can squeeze more out of a trade than any of his clients.

Well, I told myself don't squeeze too hard. I do sometimes and then I miss out totally. I get greedy.....

I ended up not having a single trade hit all day. The result was the positions ended up doing what I thought they would. Had I just gone ahead and entered the position and not held out for a few pennies more, then closed them out with a reasonable profit per the plan, I could have shaved off about 2 points total for the day, and on large block trades, that would have made good grocery money.

But, the ole greed bug got me.

Result? Nothing. Nada. Zero. No grocery money.

I blew it.

Greed bug wins.

Now how many times have I told myself.... "don't get greedy."

Geez.
