All Kondratieff said was that cycle recombination like reverse fourier served to predict economic cycles.. He took about 30 factors and combined them. What he observed is that the wave corresponded to economic levels of boom and bust that were on record. He published about 1870, but his books were banned by the Soviets who felt they could smooth out economic cycles by edict.

Kondratieff cycles have been ratified by modern economists who have various linear and non linear ways of extending them. Timing is not too bad. Since 1972 there were several predictions of singularities that did not show in any other indicators. This proves that conventional TA is impoverished with respect to seeing dislocations that stem from
hidden cycle complexity effects.
