When people are are spending $12 for every dollar that they make, that is too much. A vastly lower dollar will only address half of the problem. How do you get incomes to track? Wages are not following along here and they won't.

The North American population just has to stop consuming so much. Unfortunately credit is no different than any other addiction. You can not cure it with more of it.
