Surely you are not as dumb as you act about this? You can not prove that statement I have ALREADY proven they were. It is fact. Look it up. But then you know that, don't you...because of the rest of your post. I could have written the much of the rest of your post. If they were Christians, then they were very wise Christians. Yes, you are right, they were. Many people came to America for religious freedom. The state run Church of England had alienated many. Many came to America seeking freedom to worship. Exactly. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That says it all. Actually, this says it: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that<font color=red> they are endowed by their Creator</font> with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. a very nice scripturally based phrase. I will not be happy with your religious tyranny in my government, Which religious tyranny is that? What state run religion am I attempting to bind on you? If you feel that way, is it because you are so insecure that you feel I cannot talk of God when and Where I wish? nor you with mine. if you take God out of the country that was founded by God fearing men , which is made clear in most all their writings and in the Declaration, what doe that make you? The constitution is clear. then you must be dumb as a bag of hammers, because no where in the constitution does it say "separation of church and state". Your implication is opinion. Let me post it one more time for you. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
