Spending more money on American IT workers isn't good news to me, a US consumer.

If outsourcing saves money, I hope every US corporation does it. Just as every US consumer buys stuff made in China, Taiwan, Pakistan, Korea, Japan, Bangladesh, Haiti, Mexico, Honduras, and so forth. Just as every US computer is made using parts manufactured somewhere in Asia. Just as many Americans drive foreign cars and even the ones who drive American cars have a large percentage of parts made overseas.

Why should IT workers be any different? Memo to US corporations - cut prices, you'll sell more widgets. Low overhead is the name of the game.
