Unlike you, I don't depend on "the market" to be
a successful investor. I could care less who
is president from an investment perspective.
The only reason why I like Republicans is that
they tax my gains less than Democrats do.

Similary, unlike you, I also don't depend on some
politician for defining my job prospects. I work
hard at my career, and I am competitive in the
job market regardless of who is president.
Again, I like Republicans more only because they
tax my earnings less than Democrats do.

Yes the NASDAQ ran up an unprecedented amount
during Clinton's term. It also suffered a crash
of historic proportions during the end of his
term.

IMO, to any intelligent investor, this would suggest
that the initial run-up was not really justified.
It was based on mass hysteria. So, yes, Clinton deserves
credit for whipping up mass hysteria among nearly
an entire generation of unsophisticated baby-boomer
"investors"... Yes, they were convinced that Clinton
and Rubin were micro-managing things perfectly and that
their 401K's were destined to rise 30% annually forever.
What an achievement!
