I really can't speak for this site one way or the other. All I can say is that FDR was a profligate spender, both on the military side and the social side. FDR also STARTED us down the road to "entitlement hell" by initiating actuarially unsound programs like Social Security when it was politically easy to do so (i.e., many more younger workers than older retirees). We are still paying a huge price for FDR's unsound policies today. Quite an (infamous) legacy, if you ask me!
