What do you call Iraq? A phoney war? I don't think that a war would stimulate our economy like it did in WWII, because we off shore much of the goods we need for a war. I think we're far better off in a peacetime economy led by high tech growth in biotech, nanotech, computer tech and energy conservation and research.

The largest expansion of our economy in history occurred during the relatively peaceful 90's. I think we need to get back to that.

If I were president I would try to stimulate growth in these high tech areas, and then supplant the anticipated growth with education and training in key areas.

All Bush has for us is bombing, drilling, selling out the white house to the highest bidders. This is not good for the country.
