Jay, Thanks for that comprehensive reply. Very impressive, as always. What I'm sure will result from this is a demand for another $10 Billion or so by the U.S. Navy and the D.I.A. in order to make sure something like this never happens again. <gg> How could we American imperialists be caught so flat-footed? :) I particularly enjoyed the China Daily report. After speculating about every reason under the sun for the submarine to be where it was, the reporter apparently saw no purpose to be served by calling up the People's Liberation Army Navy and asking what the heck the story was. Funny.
