You are right. Conservatives have indeed dropped the ball. But despite a slight surge in traditionalism I don't see a bright future for our country. Let's face it, the bubble is getting very thin and has to burst at some point. The fallout from this is going to be terribly painful for very many people. I think, if the Lord tarries, the opportunity to rectify much of the leftist damage will come sometime after the damn has burst. America will have to make some historic changes in how it spends money. I think the abolishment of much of leftism will take place at that time. This will send many people into poverty who now are artificially kept into the middle class by various social contrivances. But hopefully we will seek to help them by better alternatives than theft.

Gotta run. Just found out I accidentally committed myself to a whole day (!) of Lord of the Rings to be shown in the next few days. Gotta fly back now, work very hard tomorrow and Tuesday and waste-- uh, spend the WHOLE DANG DAY (!!) watching a movie! (sigh). Didn't know it would take a whole day. Thought it would be just three hours, which is bad enough. Well, enough complaining...
