If Saddam had been buried by a bomb, some would never have believed he was gone.
This way is best, a new National holiday for Iraq.

Now that we've apparently captured Saddam Hussein!!!

I happened to be up at the crack of dawn (EST), and heard the news when it hit.

On scanning the radio dial, I heard NPR put on a brave face, quick to caution that "insurgents may lash out on hearing the news", and other negative spin.

While I'm no fan of this administration, I sometimes get the feeling that the worst thing for a lot of people would be for the US to actually succeed in turning things around in Iraq.
