Dave,

It is truly MORE psychological then anything else -- it has minimal if any logistical/practical value in the final analysis on Iraq's state of affairs.

I agree squarely with you however that it provides a long-needed boost to the troop morale and signals that the administration was not going to just let the man run off into the horizon somewhere -- and possibly resurface.

I just hope we get a WIDE OPEN trial -- with lots of cameras and no editing of facts/findings in its wake.

Someone's hate went to far as to have caused an illegal invasion of a sovereign nation, causing thousands of people to become killed or wounded. And this hatred was cloaked in a fact that virtually the whole of the international community opposed the action.

Dave, My true colors are red, white and blue. Thank you. Did Bush capture Saddam? No, I don't think so. We have lost 452 US soldiers lives. How many more lives will be lost before we can say we have won the peace? If we don't win the peace, what have we gained and what will be the ultimate cost? Not from a bitter and hateful person but a thinking person.

"You truly must be a bitter and hateful person." Why is it hateful to remember our dead?

Well put.
