Would you perhaps concede that some wars ARE worth the cost? If so, then we only differ on how much cost and what the result is worth.

...the costs have ONLY just started -- wait till shameless Bush goes back to Congress for even more money -- despite the fact that he is already (in practice) cutting and running.

If Bush is reelected -- we are going to get TWO things:

1) A request for more dough for ongoing Iraq mess
2) A HUGE tax increase in the fall of 2006 -- a day or two after the mid-term elections. Although if he were smart he would leave that undesirable mess for the new GOP nominee to deal with in 2008. <--- just like his daddy had to do.

Kenneth,re:"the question of whether it was worth the cost".
The question is: would you give the silverspoon cowboy to
get his way of getting his wish, now you know the cost and
mean how a silverspoon cowboy gets things done. Your lives,
your money.
