Over the next 2 months we will see how this works out.

My sense is that E&P's lunged very quickly at prices with the start of this year, as storage filled just as quick as it fell there was ample caution the last 4 months not to rush into rising day rates with an apparent 3 bcfpd excess supply.

With storage indicating that it is dropping at the same gwhdd ratio as last Winter and very strong spot and futures prices, I am betting the herd will be chasing drilling activity to make money while they can.

If one E&P does not do it another will.

My local weather forecast flipped bearish around the end of the month this morning. If this holds until the morning along with the expectation of Iraqi oil flooding the markets I would expect some weakness until W-TH.

Tommaso - thanks for the pointer to that post.

That oil man is waiting for better tax treatment. I think some drillers are waiting for access to Rockies and other places where they know they can get a well with 2-3 Bcf at 5,000 feet, instead of 1 Bcf.
