He has now been shown to be a huge coward, even his sons went down fighting. Hussein was hiding in a hole like a rat, like the vermin that he was. I believe that this point is a particularly kick in the teeth to his followers. Saddam was armed, but didn't fire a shot or kill himself to avoid capture. Plus, he looked like a beaten man, a disheveled vagrant, on the video. Did you see how the Iraqi reporters just lost it and began screaming "Death to Saddam!" when they showed that video?
