Saudi Arabia will DO EVERYTHING IN THEIR POWER to sabotage anything remotely looking like a Democracy bordering its country. Iran, for its part -- is in fact, quietly psyched by what the American trrops are doing -- it provides this huge opportunity to expand their influence at minimal cost (<--otherwise would have been military/economic compromise.) -JH
