I completely supported the administration on Afghanistan and on being tough with Saddam. I broke with them when they started wildly exaggerating the dangers of Saddam, started boycotting our allies and using the war talk to swipe the mid-term elections, even suggesting Dem war heros were unpatriotic. Not a single right-wing leader has ever even fought in combat so boy was that phony baloney. You don't know if Monica had anything to do with bombing Osama, but if it did, it would be much less of a thing that Bush starting war talk just as the Enron scandals were brewing in July 2002. The Enron and related scandals could have brought down the White House because when you follow the money on the energy scandals it eventually leads right into the Bush campaign. Enron's top lobbyist is now the head of the RNC, Bush's choice. Bushies knew Dems could use that in the mid-terms against the GOP so they started a war. Andrew Card's statement about the timing of the war makes this clear. Bushies used the war for political purposes. It also has a lot to do with oil, oil, oil. I haven't heard Bush mention Osama Bin Lauden in years. Hey also haven't mentioned the CIA agent outer.
