Oil prices are pegged to the dollar. We're lucky for that otherwise we'd be paying 20% more for oil than we do now.
I cannot remember a president presiding over a 20% drop in the dollar in three years. What a lousy performance. The dollar may pop a little now but we still have record-setting debts for as far as the eye can see so don't expect it to rebound much or for long.
