Excuse me! What data are using for this statement?

The Euro is quickly becoming the currency of choice because of the fiscal discipline that is required as condition of being a member country.

The EU's current/combo GDP is actually now larger then that of the USA.

What about the impact of the US current account deficit and the rapid increase in the money supply for many years combined with the huge deficit spending of Dubya and the enormous debt our children will inherit??? I think those factors are fundamental and why the US dollar will be dropping for years to come.
