Quagmires come and quagmires go, don't they?

Despite all the help your side of the fence gets from the media, it unfortunately seems that your end of the story is not proving out too well, is it?

Is today's news a bitter pill to swallow, perhaps too bitter? Is that trademark sneer so well-entrenched that it is impossible for you to admit that SH's capture made you secretly happy despite all the emotional energy you deployed to squash that small spark of joy?

Admit it, for a millisecond you were thrilled. It didn't last, but what the heck, it made up for the disappointment you must have felt when W was in Baghdad while Hillary was in Afghanistan.

Some have stated that the odds of Saddam getting away were between slim and none. Elvis just left taking slim with him.
