The Ruby solution isn't going to play well internationally, and neither is stifling him in some kangaroo court in Iraq ... otoh, as you say, letting him actually testify would be a disaster. This may not be the pr coup poor shrub probably thought it would be.

This dupe actor is already "free," having fulfilled the main obligation in his handsomely paid contract, except for the photos/videos ... and the expenses of the HAL casting/clean up crew, etc.

The little stuff will be swept away with the secret (US) military tribunal and France can kiss George Bush's ass, mind you.

Scott McClellan will tell you that and little more in the next live "media briefing" that we may or may not see on GE/Disneyvision.

To be fair, there are plenty of other countries that would be embarrassed if he testified about their dealings with him. The guy was a gangster and he was in power for 30 yrs. He has a lot of dirt on a lot of leaders.
